Revered across the globe, Royal Ascot attracts many of racing's finest horses to compete for more than £6m in prize money. It is also equally synonymous with sartorial elegance, being awash with exquisite fashion and magnificent millinery creations. From the arrival of the Royal Procession as the clock strikes two, to the communal singing around Ascot's Bandstand, each of the five days is an event which must be seen to be believed. FITE will air 5 hours a day of action ( 2.30 PM-6.30 PM CET / 8:30 AM-1:30 PM ET). PPV options include single day and full-week passes.
Her Majesty The Queen has graciously consented to approve the extension of Royal Ascot to seven races each day from this year's Royal Meeting. Prize money for Royal Ascot 2021 is confirmed at £6 million over the week – a 66% increase on the £3.61m offered in 2020.
The action kicks off Tuesday, June 15th with The Queen Anne Stakes and continues on everyday until the 2-mile plus Queen Alexandra Stakes on Saturday.
One of the most anticipated days will be Thursday, June 17th, both because it is known as ‘‘Ladies Day,' where we will be sure to see the most fabulous and flamboyant outfits on display, and because it features the biggest race of the year - The Gold Cup. In 2020, Royal Ascot saw one of the most dramatic wins from tradivarius, ridden by jockey Frankie Dettori which was his third Royal Ascot Gold Cup win.
The action on the track and off is all available on FITE in Canada, France, Germany, Japan and
South Korea, for only $4.99 for all 5 days or $1.99 a day a la carte.
