Description
The main event of the event features one of the most anticipated returns to the boxing ring – it's Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield comeback to fight Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort. The first opponent scheduled for the event was Oscar De La Hoya who tested positive for COVID-19 a week ago and was replaced by Holyfield. Now the event couldn't get much bigger.
No doubt Evander Holyfield is among the legends of the boxing history – who is the only one defeated two times another great legend of the boxing world - Mike Tyson, Holyfield is the only fighter to reign as the Undisputed Cruiserweight World Champion and Undisputed Heavyweight World Champion in the three-belt era and was the first boxer to hold world titles in three different decades. He is considered to be the best Pound-for-Pound Heavyweight Champion alive today.
On September 11th Holyfield is getting into the ring to collide in an 8-round fight with the Former Heavyweight UFC Champion Vitor Belfort who still holds the record for most knockouts in the history of UFC.
In the co-main event of the evening the UFC legend Anderson Silva will face off Tito Ortiz. Anderson "The Spider" Silva is new to the boxing world but in his first professional boxing match against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June he won by split decision. Tito "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Ortiz is also from MMA and this will be his first professional boxing match. Now two MMA legends will face each other for the first time in their careers in the boxing ring.
The PPV fight card has two more highly anticipated matches. The first one is in the super featherweight division where Andy ‘El Tiburon' Vences takes on Jono ‘King Kong' Carroll and the second one is the heavyweight division where Former Heavyweight and Cruiserweight World Champion David ‘The Hayemaker' Haye clashes with Joe Fournier.
Between the boxing matches you can enjoy the music performances of Anitta – one of the biggest global female popstars from Brazil, one of the most popular in the world reggaeton artists – Lunay and the Cuban reggaeton legends Gente De Zona as well as Snoop Dogg with never-again-seen performance with the legendary Marvin Gaye. (the music performances are scheduled for approximately 10minutes each)
