On June 26th "Loma" is back and he is ready to fight. He is determined to to win back all of his three titles, WBA, WBC Franchise, and WBO lost to Teofimo last October. He'll likely need to wait until one of the sanctioning bodies makes him a mandatory for those titles and to get it there his starts with the this fight.
Lomachenko's return comes against Nakatani, a longtime Japanese contender who most recently knocked out Felix Verdejo in one of the best fights of 2020. Nakatani's only lost is against Teofimo Lopez by unanimous decision but he gave Teofimo all he could handle.
Nakatani's main advantages are his height and his reach. The "pound-for-pound Picasso" will be giving up roughly five inches in height and six inches in reach to the naturally bigger Nakatani. How Loma will make his return - gloriously or victoriously?
