From the moment the Greencoats open the gates, anticipation is high and the racecourse is immaculate. The afternoon starts with the Royal Procession gliding along the straight mile turf in-front of the Grandstand that will welcome 12,000 racegoers under the latest British Government Events Research Programme.

There are three Group 1 races – the most prestigious class in Flat racing: the Queen Anne Stakes, the King's Stand Stakes and the St James's Palace Stakes to enjoy, with contenders from around the world vying for the championship status.

2:30pm (GMT) - The Queen Anne Stakes (Group 1)
3:05pm (GMT) - The Coventry Stakes (Group 2)

3:40pm (GMT) - King's Stand Stakes (Group 1)
4.20pm (GMT) - The St James's Palace Stakes (Group 1)
5.00pm (GMT) - The Ascot Stakes (H'cap) (Class 2)

5.35pm (GMT) - The Wolferton Stakes (Listed)
6:10pm (GMT) - The Copper Horse Stakes (H'cap) (Class 2)
