Description

River Spirit Casino welcomes back Dale "Apollo" Cook's "Xtreme Fight Night" on Friday, August 25 in the Paradise Cove Theater. XFN #343, hosted by UFC legend Frank Mir, features both world class MMA and world championship kickboxing. Former UFC fighters Gerald "Hurricane" Harris and Myron Dennis and super-heavyweight kickboxing champion Haze Wilson are all three looking for redemption.

Harris, the two-time UFC knockout of the night winner, looks to continue his climb back to the biggest league when he takes on Bellator veteran Chad "The Boss" Leonhardt. Harris made the ESPN highlight reels in his last Tulsa fight with "The Slam" heard round the world. Harris won by knockout after picking up and slamming his opponent Aaron Cobb. Dennis, one of the featured fighters on SPIKE TV's "The Ultimate Fighter" battles pro wrestler turned MMA heavyweight Brandon Groom. Groom proved he's no (CM) Punk by winning 4 out of 5 MMA bouts including a win over XFN middleweight champion Canaan Grigsby.

In the kickboxing main event Wilson will face Muay Thai specialist Michael "Trigger" Coonts. Wilson is coming off a TKO loss to Dennis in an epic back and forth kickboxing war with Myron Dennis that ended the Tulsa fighters sixteen fight win streak.

The fifteen bout hybrid combat fight card will go down in the cage at the 2,700 seat Paradise Cove Theater. Two-time UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir will also serve as commentator for the show that airs live and free worldwide on FITE.
