On Episode 3 of "MMA Rewind", hosted by MMA commentator, regulator, and historian Sean Wheelock, Affliction 2 (also known as Affliction: Day of Reckoning) is discussed. Sean is joined by former Pride and M1 Global Executive Jerry Millen, who worked as a senior consultant for both Affliction events; and by 21 win MMA veteran Jason High, who made his major show debut on this card.

Affliction 2 took place 11 years ago (January 24, 2009) in Anaheim, California, and featured one of the most star-studded and expensive line-ups in MMA history; main evented by Fedor Emilianenko vs Andre Arlovski, and featuring Josh Barnett, Vitor Belfort, Babalu Sobral, Paul Buentello, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Matt Lindland, Bobby Green, Vladimir Matyushenko, and Dan Lauzon, to name but a few.

Sean himself served as the play by play commentator for Afflcition 2, broadcasting live on pay per view televsion with Jimmy Smith, and most memorably Tito Ortiz. He calls it the craziest MMA event that he has worked in his entire career. Affliction 2 featured an almost surreal cast of characters that extended far beyond the fighters, and included investors Donald Trump and Oscar de la Hoya, and Trump's then personal lawyer Michael Cohen working as the promotion's COO.
